Working under the direction of a senior technician, the Engineering Technician III will be responsible for developing conceptual and detailed designs for primarily transportation projects. Some of these may include water, sewer and / or storm drainage components in the design. Requirements include completion of an accredited post-secondary program in Civil and Structural Engineering Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience; three years directly related experience in civil engineering design or public works inspection, installation and approval procedures in both drafting/surveying; eligible for membership in ASTT of BC; conversant with computer based engineering applications and a valid B.C. Class 5 driver’s license.
