Motor Labs is currently recruiting for Engineering Manager. The Engineering Manager opportunity is a new position and its primary focus is to lead internal and outsourced engineering teams working on new product development projects to bring new products to global markets. Areas of responsibilities include:
Project Management
Quality Assurance
R&D
Staff Relations and Supervision
Occupational Health and Safety
The challenge of this position will be managing manage diverse cross-functional teams of professionals while overseeing all aspects of product development projects.
The successful candidate will have/be:
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and PEng designation;
Solid personnel management, leadership, team building and coaching skills;
Strong communication, active listening, and negotiation skills;
Highly motivated and able to work under pressure;
Excellent organizational and time management skills;
Excellent client service skills; and,
Solid logical thinking and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
This position must be available Monday thru Friday during regular business hours. Overtime is normally not required but may be based on operational need and when required is a condition of employment. Travel on an occasional basis is a job requirement for the purposes of attending meetings and remote site visits and the incumbent must possess a valid passport.
