Electro Mechanical Technician – Toronto – One Atlantic Staffing

Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine preventative maintenance duties as well as respond to emergency breakdown of machinery
Conduct electrical and mechanical tests, analyses & troubleshooting of machines and components
Read electrical, hydraulic and mechanical blueprints and schematics
Focus on safety during maintenance activities
Complete paperwork in a timely manner
Operate specialized repair and testing equipment
Retest reassembled electro-mechanical equipment for proper output and operation

Qualifications
3 years electrical troubleshooting experience
Industrial electrician trade ticket or 4th year apprentice
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, Millwright ticket an asset
Ability to use and interpret manuals
General Knowledge of all types of motors and generators
Knowledge and ability to change and set up DC and AC drives
Knowledge and operation of machine tools
Basic electrical tests (e.g. Megger and surge tester)
Ability to work rotating shifts
