Our client, a leader in the automotive manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Director of Maintenance to join their team in the Arthur, ON area.  The successful candidate will be reporting the GM and will be responsible for overseeing the entire maintenance function of two (2) plants, as well as supervising all maintenance staff including:

Maintenance Manager
Maintenance Supervisor
Skilled Trades
Maintenance Coordinator/Admin

Responsibilities (not limited to, but including):

Direct and coordinate activities of employees/subcontractors
Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Work with Program Launch team to identify and procure recommended items
Participate in the recruitment and selection of maintenance staff.
Participate in the requirement to retain and continually improve on ISO14001 & 18001 certification.
Work with other department Managers to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap and downtime.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5-7 years Maintenance Management experience within the automotive sector
Excellent leadership and motivational skills
Experience within a TS & ISO environment
Experience in developing and implementing PM, Continuous Improvement and Kaizen programs
Ability to travel between two (2) plants

Salary: $100,000 per year
