About the Director, Infrastructure & Operations role
The City of Whitehorse is looking for high performing applicants for the Director of Infrastructure and Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Management team.

In this permanent full time role, you will manage, direct and evaluate the Operations, Water and Waste Services departments. Your role will also be instrumental in providing oversight and guidance on complex construction and rehabilitation plans.

About the ideal candidate
Your master’s degree in a related discipline and ten years of progressive experience in government and/or private sector setting will help you lead and supervise these essential departments.  Your skills toolbox will demonstrate you have the following expertise:

Leadership and supervisory
Team building
Ability to effectively and sustainably navigate and manage in a changing regulatory environment
Project Management skills
Organizational, prioritizing, and multitasking skills
Knowledge of the relevant Municipal, Territorial and Federal legislation
Excellent written and oral communication
