Opportunity:
As part of our Controls team, you will work with other team members to deliver quality controls systems to our customers utilizing your 5+ years of manufacturing and automation experience. The successful candidate should have experience with control system design, PLC programming and SCADA implementation, as well as object oriented development and relational database technologies..
Responsibilities
Work closely with customers to assess complex technical environments and define requirements for new solutions
Design, develop and implement automation solutions, including:
Both conventional and custom HMI, PLCs and SCADA systems
Data collection, analysis and warehousing for monitoring and managing work in process on the
factory floor, using both Microsoft technologies and third party manufacturing applications
Develop and maintain strong client relationships
Provide support and mentorship to more junior engineers
Experience
University degree in Engineering, with courses in software development and industrial automation and controls
5 plus years experience preferably inclusive of:
Hands on programming of HMI, PLC and SCADA systems
Hands on full life cycle experience developing multi tier systems, using Microsoft tools,
including VB.net and SQL Server
Extensive knowledge of industrial automation
Manufacturing experience
Ability and interest to travel globally
