Parts for Trucks, Inc. is Atlantic Canada’s leading distributor of heavy duty truck and trailer parts, operating 15 sales outlets and 4 service centres throughout the region. We supply parts, truck-mounted equipment and repair service to customers across all areas of the trucking industry. We have an opening for a Branch Manager at our Parts Store in Truro.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage daily sales operations of the store, including customer relations, and inventory maintenance. Develop and manage parts counter and warehouse staff.
Search for parts and provide product information to customers. Become a product knowledge leader on a full line of quality brand-name truck and trailer parts.
Maintain regular customer communication and resolve customer concerns. Collaborate with the Outside Sales Representative to better assess and meet customer needs.
Facilitate and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including sales reporting, cash handling, inventory, and health & safety.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of heavy duty truck and trailer parts is fundamental to the position. Five or more years of experience in the heavy duty truck industry is preferred, along with some experience in a management position, or post-secondary training in a business or technical field.
Effective sales and interpersonal skills, with sound business sense and decision making ability.
Experience with computerized inventory and budget management.
