What we are looking for:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Mechanic who is eager to deliver Wow to our Guests, Customers and Co-workers every chance they get. We are looking for candidates who think “We are happy” first and are passionately accountable and resourceful at accomplishing tasks in a confident, humble and trustworthy way.

Job Description:
You will be responsible for the following duties:
Test to check whether RV systems and components are secure and are working properly
Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the problem
Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing RVs
Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the RV’s breakdown or damage
Perform Pre Delivery Inspections on guest RVs
Use common hand tools like screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers, to work on small-scale parts
Review work orders and discuss work with the Service Manager
Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of RV systems including electrical system, plumbing systems, heating and water systems etc
Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrications and tune ups
Inspect and test mechanical units such as engines, transmissions, axles and brake systems, to locate faults and malfunctions
Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with the Service Manager to determine whether to repair or replace unit
Provide “cradle to grave” guest/customer service and assist guests with on road inquires
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Preferred Experience and Skills:
Mechanic trade certification and a strong aptitude for electronics will be strong assets
Hands on experience in RV preventative maintenance, propane systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, air conditioning, refrigerators, heating systems, water systems & slides
Extensive knowledge of different RVs/automobiles and their service needs
Professional demeanor and efficient problem solving skills
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and guests
Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have basic math skills
Up-to-date knowledge of RV/automotive parts and their functions
Ability to effectively communicate RV/automotive issues clearly
Ability to work independently, managing his or her time and work flow
