As a result of continued growth, our Subsea Services base in Mt Pearl, NL, Canada currently has an opening for the following:
HSE Manager
This position will be responsible for the supervision of all HSE activities and the coordination of the related administration in accordance of FMC programs, procedures, and guidelines as well as customer related guidelines.
The qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor Degree, or Technical Diploma in related discipline from a recognized institute
Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience
Direct experience with implementing and managing HSE policies as applicable to provincial legislation
Developing HSE improvement plans and project HSE requirements
In depth knowledge of Canadian HSE standards (CSA, OHS)
Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership qualities
Knowledge of MS suite of products and SAP would be as asset
Brief Work Description
Trains, monitors and coaches shop, office, & HSE team members to ensure adherence to principles, policies and standards to improve safety, health and environmental processes in a reliable and cost effective manner
Leads incident investigations and facilitates communications, problem resolution, and appropriate feedback, both positive and corrective within the teams. Develops reports and communication of incidents and recommended preventative measures to be distributed within FMC Technologies
Participates in the FMC’s global HSE organization and ensures alignment with corporate priorities and initiatives
Ensures compliance to industry and customer HSE requirements
