The position of electrician is responsible for providing assistance to repair, install and maintain for SNL Techlink’s products or services, such as wireless, wireline, commercial telecommunication and HVAC.

General responsibilities:
Accountability for compliance with Ontario Electrical Standards Act, all safety guidelines and departmental procedures
Received in- house safety training to update certifications
Ability to work independently as well as work in a team
Report to the project managers about equipment and machinery breakdowns
Keep maintenance reports and documentation, such as update electrical changes and determine appropriate selection of materials
Use computer assisted design, manufacturing and machining

Electrical Specific Responsibilities:
Ability to analyze pre-maintenance work orders to ensure effective, non-repetitious problem solving and machine repair.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics and electrical code specifications
Install, test, and replace electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies as well as lighting fixtures, etc.
Test and measure voltage, continuity, current, and resistance
Troubleshoot and repair various equipment in a timely manner
Ability to train and direct Junior electrical staff

Education, Certifications & Experience:
Technical school training or completed the apprenticeship program
Licensed electrician (309A or 442A)
Minimum 3 years of experience
Comfortable speaking and communicating with clients on site
Master Electrician License preferred
