Jewer Bailey Consultants Ltd. is 100% locally owned and operated, multi-discipline engineering company, offering structural, mechanical, electrical design and project management services to the residential, commercial, institutional and industrial building sectors. We are expanding operations at our St. John’s, NL office and are looking to fill the following full-time, permanent position:

Electrical Engineer

Candidates should have experience in designing electrical systems for various building sectors.

Responsibilities:

Concept development;
Detailed design calculations;
Equipment selection;
Code review;
Drawing development;
Specification preparation;
Site inspections;
Contract administration;
Support of senior engineering staff.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in electrical engineering design
Graduation from a recognized university with a degree in Electrical Engineering
Eligibility for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador.
