Unisys Canada is growing in the Atlantic region! We are seeking a Project Manager to work as an integral member of our project team to meet our growing client’s needs in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This is a full-time, salaried role.

Position Aspects:
Primary responsibilities include working with the client departments and the Unisys team to manage and co-ordinate projects and initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities:
Provide regular status reports for both internal Unisys as well as client engagements.
Use applicable client specific project management tools and techniques.
Support the Unisys team by maintaining demand plans and project schedules.
Create and maintain project baseline budgets and progress against same.
Critical Attributes:
5+ years of relevant PM experience.
Must be able to build strong working relationships, and work collaboratively with both external clients/users and internal Unisys staff.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exposure to multiple consulting engagements, preferably involving systems development/implementation/integration, and/or IT architecture projects.
Ability to write client ready project management documents and manage necessary review and approval cycles.
Experience leading within a team environment.
Create work breakdown structures, projects plans, Microsoft Project and other relevant project documentation.
Must be able to develop a strong working knowledge and understanding of processes and procedures of the relevant domain areas and the Unisys organization.
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent training and experience.
PMP Certification or working toward same
Must be able to clear extensive background check and be security cleared by the Canadian government to the level required by our clients
Desirable attributes
Relevant experience within the Public Sector
Exposure to e-Commerce payment processing would be considered an asset
Flexibility and exposure to multiple project management tools
