Title of Position: P3 Manager (Infrastructure Services)

Job Duties:

High level monitoring of construction and review of blueprint designs;
Conducting regular site inspections to assess compliance and quality;
Preparing and issuing monthly reports to all stakeholders;
Reviewing and monitoring of variations, compensation events and delay events;
Reviewing and tracking of project schedule;
Issuing completion certificates;
Reviewing and monitoring the commissioning process;
Providing guidance and advice to the Contract Parties;
Providing determinations on disputes when requested;
Providing technical, commercial, and risk advisory services to public agencies;
Providing Lender’s Technical Advisory services to private sector participants bidding;
Providing estimates using CostX and Timberline software; and
Managing Client, Lender and Stakeholder relationships.

Terms of Employment: Full time, permanent position

Wage Offered: $95,000 to $130,000

Skills Requirements:

Education Required:

Construction management diploma or B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying, or related work experience;
Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) designation and active member of the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS);

Work Experience Required:

Over ten (10) years of experience within the Construction industry with minimum of two (2) years of Canadian experience in the Construction industry;
Proven track record as an Independent Certifier within a Canadian organization with the technical knowledge necessary to deliver the role;
Experience in Independent Contract Arbitration;
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an Independent Certifier role;
P3 experience in the following: Light Rail Transit, tunnel projects, hospital, educational and correctional facilities;
Experience in dealing with the completion process, including Substantial and Final Completion,  in the role of Independent Certifier;
Proven experience in resolving disputes;
Experience working on projects over $1.5 billion;
Experience with CostX and Timberline software;
Understanding of our Argus software platform;
Advance Word and Excel skills;
Experience in managing staff, workload and performance; and
Ability to travel across Canada depending on mandate.
