The District of Taylor is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Parks & Facilities Maintenance Worker II.

The District of Taylor Parks & Facilities Department maintains the Ice Arena, Community Beautification, Parks & Playgrounds and various other facilities and green spaces.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interpersonal skills and be certified in arena and pool operations. They will also possess an Ice Facilities Operator Certificate or a 6th Class Power Engineering Certificate combined with 2-5 years of recreation experience.

The salary range for the position is $19.03 – $25.64 per hour, which is dependent on relevant qualifications and experience. Additional salary incentives and an attractive benefit package are also available. Less qualified applicants with a willingness to learn may also be considered. An acceptable Criminal Record Check and Driver Abstract is also required. This position includes shift work and may include nights and weekends.
