East Point Inc. is seeking an individual for the position of Construction Site Superintendent to coordinate all on site activities associated with the construction of new buildings and the renovation of existing premises in Saint John, NB.
Reporting to the Project Manager, this individual will have a broad range of experience in the construction industry with emphasis on new construction and renovation of retail and/or commercial buildings. Qualifications for this position include a minimum of 10 years experience in the construction industry with at least 5 years in site superintendent positions. Gold Seal Certification in project management or TEC certification would be positive assets to be considered for this position.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter and will be directly responsible for the day-to-day construction activities. The Construction Site Superintendent will work with other members of the management team during the planning, execution and wrap up of projects that range from site preparation and construction of new developments to the renovation of existing retail spaces. This position will also be responsible for the maintenance of project records and for construction safety and training.
Compensation will be dependent on experience and qualifications and competitive with similar positions in the industry.
