East Point Development & Management is seeking an individual for the position of Construction Manager. The company has extensive retail and commercial properties that require periodic renovation and upgrade as well as the construction of new buildings.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, this individual will have a broad range of experience in the construction industry with emphasis on new construction and renovation of retail and/or commercial buildings. Qualifications for this position include a minimum of 10 years experience in the construction industry with at least 5 years in management positions. Gold Seal Certification in project management, an engineering degree, TEC certification, GSC Estimating and PQS designation would all be positive assets to be considered for this position.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter and will be directly responsible for the day-to-day construction activities of the various related operations. The Construction Manager will work with other members of the management team during the planning, execution and wrap up of projects that range from site preparation and construction of new developments to the renovation of existing retail spaces. This position will also be responsible for the maintenance of project records and for construction safety and training.
Compensation will be dependent on experience and qualifications and competitive with similar positions in the industry.
