The City of Campbell River is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our Community Planning and Development Services Department team.
Reporting to the Development Engineering & Building Supervisor, the Building Inspector is directly responsible for the administration and enforcement of the City Building Bylaw and BC Building Code with a focus on Residential construction.
Success in this role requires:
Successful completion of BOABC Level I examination;
Membership or eligibility for membership in the Building Officials Association of BC;
A valid BC driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract;
Minimum two (2) years’ related experience.
Current hourly rate of pay for this CUPE bargaining unit position is $31.00 working a 35-hour work week.
