The City of Port Coquitlam is currently seeking an energetic individual for a temporary opportunity within the Parks & Services Division as Sport Turf Technician. This is skilled turf maintenance and equipment operation work involving the cultivation, rehabilitation, maintenance and repair of large grass areas and playing fields and is responsible for inspecting, evaluating the condition of, and carrying out any necessary corrective action on turf areas and the safe operation of medium sized motorized equipment with a variety of turf maintenance attachments.
The successful candidate for this position will have:
Diploma in Turf Management
2 years’ experience in tuft management, including establishment, grading irrigation, drainage and maintenance.
