Project Manager, Rural Community Vitality Measurement Initiative
The Rural Ontario Institute (ROI) is offering a full-time 30-month position for an excellent project manager. This individual will be responsible for coordination of a two and a half year initiative funded by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing which includes multiple deliverables arising from the completion of seven projects.
The Project Manager (PM) will ensure that each project produces practical information resources for use by local governments, provincial agencies and civil society organizations as they continue to innovate and learn from each other’s efforts to capture and document ‘hard to measure’ aspects of rural civic engagement, social capital and community impact and well-being in the rural Ontario context. This is a rare opportunity to assist professionals and leaders working on rural community development to help collect relevant success stories, demonstrate methods and models through applied research and engage with community partners.
