We are actively recruiting for an experienced police services professional interested in joining our Moncton campus team as a Police Foundations Instructor.
The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide quality delivery of the Police Foundations program curriculum. You will utilize a variety of instruction strategies, techniques and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests, assignments, and exams.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5-years of police service experience.
Related diploma or degree from a recognized Law Enforcement program.
The ability to enhance written material with personal experience is essential.
Previous teaching experience is preferred.
Intermediate MS Office skills are required.
Excellent communication and organization skills along with a professional attitude.
An individual recently retired from the police service would be considered for this opportunity.
Hours of Work:
This is a part-time position, working 4-hours per day, Monday to Friday. Hours will either be 8am-12pm (Noon) or 1pm-5pm.
