Duties
The successful applicant will be responsible for the daily operations of document delivery services division at the Ferriss Hodgett Library. Duties include processing loans and photocopy requests from both external libraries and Memorial University Libraries; searching library holdings for requested items using the Unicorn integrated library system; checking bibliographic information and searching for material locations; processing incoming and outgoing requests using the Relais Document Delivery system; processing invoices and maintaining expenditure records; maintaining and updating external contacts regarding document deliveries and accounts; maintaining document delivery reports and statistics; performing circulation duties; providing patron assistance; and performing other related duties as required.
Qualifications
Experience (1-3 years) in basic library work and completion of relevant courses towards: a 2-year library technology diploma, a 2-year community college diploma, or a university degree (6-12 credit hours) or considerable experience (3-5 years) in basic library work and completion of some relevant courses towards: a 2-year library technology diploma, a 2-year community college diploma, or a university degree; or any equivalent combination of experience and education/training.
Salary $33,934 – $47,581 per annum (CUPE Local 1615)
