Qualification:

Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training or completion of university
Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education
Registered Early Childhood Education (RECE) is required
More than 1 year of work experience of  Early Childhood Educator
Interpersonal and communication skills

Job duties:

Plan and develop child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
Providing opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
Carry out and monitor activity programs designed for young children
Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
Prepare and serve snack, arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods
Observe children and submit written observations on children to supervisors
Assess the developmental level of children
Prepare progress reports and discuss with parents and other staff members
Assist in maintaining records of children
Maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping duties

Terms of employment: Full Time, Permanent, Day

Salary: $15.80 Hourly, for 40.00 Hours per week

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible
