Full Time Temporary Position (11 months)
Hours: 40 hours weekly

CHANCES is a non-profit, community-based, charitable organization which exists to actively contribute to the well-being of children ages 0-11 years.  We are seeking a dynamic individual to be responsible for the overall management and administration of an Early Years Centre.  As a strength-based and supportive member of the staffing team, this individual will be expected to respect the organizational culture while advancing the overall mission and goals of CHANCES Family Centre.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
Under the supervision of the Coordinator, this position is responsible for:

Overall management and administration of an Early Years Centre;
Staff supervision, support and development;
Ensuring high quality programming for children and families;
Building strength-based and supportive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

Qualifications/Experience:
The successful candidate will have several of the following in an early learning environment:

Graduate of a two year Early Childhood Education Certificate Program;
Supervisor’s certificate in Early Childhood Education;
The ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with a high level of professionalism;
Three years experience with direct supervision and administration;
Strong computer literacy skills and be open to a learning process;
Personal attributes that include a positive, flexible, and self-motivated approach to work.

Salary: Commensurate with training and experience.
