The City of Campbell River is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our Development Services Department.
Reporting to the Development Engineering & Building Supervisor, the Building Inspector performs highly skilled technical inspections and regulatory work of a complex nature.
Success in this role requires:
Trades certification or equivalent post-secondary education and training;
BOABC Level II certification and association membership;
Minimum five (5) years’ experience as a Building Inspector within the last seven (7) years.
The current hourly rate of pay for this CUPE bargaining unit position is $36.70 working a 35-hour work week.
