The Active Living Coordinator (ALC) needs to meet this huge challenge head on and help to make a real difference in our community!

We are currently seeking resumes from interested applicants for an ALC for Yarmouth Recreation, serving the Town and Municipality of Yarmouth.

The ALC will coordinate the implementation of the Yarmouth Active Living Strategy which will help to increase physical activity levels in the community. This strategy addresses the entire population and will deal with policy, built and natural environments that support physical activity, social environments including leadership, active transportation and social communication promoting awareness of the benefits and opportunities.

The successful candidate will work with Yarmouth Recreation and community partners and must be comfortable working with the general public.

This is a five (5) year position, with potential for renewal. Benefits package included.
