WordPress whiz needed for a communications business based on Salt Spring Island.

We build websites and handle social media for socially and environmentally progressive organizations and businesses.

Looking for a contract based helper to jump in and build beautiful, functional, and user friendly websites. Working with the art director and designer you’ll take Adobe Illlustrator storyboards and tailor them to WP themes. Some knowledge of CSS is required for customization. Position may also involve preparing & posting to social media.

Qualifications:

formal training in graphic design, web development, and media/communications
demonstrated experience using WordPress to build customized responsive sites; an understanding of CSS
Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop skills: image retouching, creating web-ready graphics from AI storyboards
good communications skills
location in the Lower Mainland, islands, Victoria/SVI preferred.
