The District of Saanich is seeking a Systems Analyst II to join our innovative IT team. Your role as an experienced IT technical expert is to operate and improve district wide IT services and to ensure consistently high performance of enterprise technology infrastructure that is critical to the organization. The successful candidate will have deep technical knowledge in a wide range of infrastructure topics including; network support, server and storage administration, and database/middleware support. You should be a natural problem solver, enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and be committed to providing excellent customer service.
Requirements include: University Degree in the Field of Computer Science or Information Technology with four years experience in related roles (equivalent combined education and experience may be considered) and possession of a valid Class 5 Driver’s license. Possession of a current (2012 or later) MCP, MCSA/E or CCNA, and experience working with ITIL processes would be an asset.
