The District of Saanich is seeking a Systems Analyst II to join our innovative IT team. Your role as an experienced IT applications expert is to customize, maintain and support enterprise software, JD Edwards, ePersonality, CLASS, and Tempest. This may include writing application interfaces, customizing vendor software and writing custom reports using Crystal Reports. You are able to configure off-the-shelf software and assist with maintenance of in-house applications and as such you are experienced with modern Java technologies, SQL, web development, relational databases (Oracle experience is an asset), and have application integration experience. In your role as a Systems Analyst you will also work directly with end users and vendors. You should be a natural problem solver, enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and be committed to providing excellent customer service.
Requirements include: University Degree in the Field of Computer Science or Information Technology with four years’ experience in application support (equivalent combined education and experience may be considered) and possession of a valid Class 5 Driver’s license. Experience working with ITIL processes would be an asset.
