The District of Saanich is seeking a temporary Systems Analyst II to join our innovative IT team. As a Systems Analyst II – Application Support, your role is to customize, maintain and support enterprise software primarily for JDEdwards. This may include writing application interfaces, customizing vendor software and writing custom reports using Crystal Reports. In your role as a Systems Analyst you will also work directly with end users and Vendors. You are experienced with modern Java technologies, SQL, web development, databases (Oracle experience is preferred), and have application integration experience. You are able to configure off-the-shelf software, or develop it yourself, based on our client’s needs. Requirements include: University Degree in the field of Computer Science or Information Technology with four years experience in related roles consistent with the area of applications or equivalent combined education and experience; and a valid B.C. Class 5 Driver’s License. ITIL Foundations certification would be an asset.
