Job Title: Structural Design Specialist

Compensation: DOE

Assignment Length: Contract

Description:

Will serve as a lead structural designer in medium to large projects, or design lead on individual, complex facilities.
Typical work assignments include design projects involving water and wastewater collection and treatment facilities.
Project components include project planning, studies, preliminary design, final design, approvals, cost estimating and services during construction.
Project design assignments include cross – disciplinary design coordination, preparation of construction plans and bid document specifications, office engineering construction support, coordination with facility operations staff, and contract administration.
Lead structural designer on water/wastewater engineering projects of various scope, complexity, and size in a team environment
Perform routine assignments which are clearly defined and require the application of standard design techniques, procedures and criteria; Participate in technology knowledge transfer sessions
Provide design support in producing deliverables, contract documents, and assisting other structural members in a team environment

Qualifications

Structural/Civil Engineering Tech from an accredited college
10-15 years experience as a Structural Designer, including experience in an Engineering Consulting environment
Must be proficient in Revit CAD platform
Demonstrated excellent oral and writing skills
Knowledge of MicroStation is a benefit
