We are currently seeking Sr. Analog Designer/Technical Leader to work for our client in Peterborough, ON.

 Responsibilities:

Skilled in team work, conflict resolution, and communication
Takes ownership of challenges to deliver quality solutions on time
Contributes directly and leads others including external partners such as contract engineering
Electronics design of level measurement products incorporating Ultrasonic and Microwave technologies
Design at both the system and detail level
Work with the Project Manager to develop project budget schedule risks and risk mitigations
Work with Product Marketing to define the customer requirements.
Author project documents including: design requirements, design concept, design description and verification test plan.
Provide technical review of project documents including: customer requirements, design requirements, design concept, design description, verification plans, verification results, field validation plans, and validation results.
Application of engineering knowledge in several fields to develop product design architecture with full consideration of applicable regulatory approvals manufacturability purchasing design verification and production testing
Lead team members in all technical areas: Software, Mechanical, Electronic, Approvals, Manufacturing, Purchasing, etc. to create design concepts identify risks and make key technical decisions
Work with external partners, both Canadian and International, to contract research and development tasks and integrate deliverables into the project

Qualifications

Professional Electrical Engineer (P. Eng) preferred
Minimum 5 years hands on design and technical leadership experience in a product development environment
Very strong analog design skills
Competent at hands-on design and overseeing technical aspect of project
Experience in designing to International EMC and safety standards
Experience in working with external partners
Experience to include some leadership or technical management training
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Good project leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
