As Software Engineer you will have hands-on involvement in developing and maintaining a J2EE web application. Refining and enhancing features in the suite of Expense Management products that are delivered for use by mid to large-scale organizations.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Design, document and develop technical solutions for J2EE platforms Weblogic and Websphere and MS SQL Server.
Investigate technical issues, identify and document root cause and possible solutions, implement and create deliverables following standard procedures.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and peers. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff, provide timely updates and escalate issues as appropriate
Manage and prioritize incoming activities.
Multitask and recognize priorities and promptly act on emergency situations.
Work individually and as a team member.

Skills & Requirements

5+ years J2EE development experience.
3+ years database development experience using MS SQL server.

Qualifications

Industry experience with JavaScript, CSS and HTML coding
Technical understanding of J2EE application servers Websphere and/or Weblogic.
Knowledgeable about J2EE development tools and frameworks including Eclipse, Subversion, JUnit, Ant, Struts and Spring.
Demonstrate knowledge of secure coding techniques and of the OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities.
Analytical skills to quickly understand business issues and define the optimal solution.
Confidence in dealing with external Client and Partner situations.
Quick learner, adaptable, professional and diligent.
