Job Description

Duties:

Responsible for the analysis, design and development of a front-end/presentation application for a service-oriented software solution using Enterprise Architect and the Vaadin Java framework.

Skills/Qualifications:

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
University degree in Computer Science or certificate
At least one year of professional programming experience with Java and JavaScript or other programming languages
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
A desire to work with a variety of technologies and an ability to adapt to change
Strong commitment to quality
Excellent communication skills (read, write, speak) in English
Experience in Model-Driven Engineering is considered an asset
Experience with the following is desired:
Linux OS
Java frameworks (e.g. Spring, Vaadin)
JavaScript and related library or framework such as jQuery and AJAX
HTML5, CSS
Unit testing, software testing
Version control (e.g. subversion)
Build and deployment management tools (e.g. Ant, Maven, AndroMDA)
