We are looking for an Intermediate Web Developer with 7+ years experience to help us extend our core product. We build enterprise software in a fast, fun, productive environment. At AirVM you will be working with industry leading teams and technologies. Please note that this position is located in our Saint John, New Brunswick office.

Specific job responsibilities include the following:

– Helping to maintain back end and front end development of our flagship products
– Developing and modifying existing features for the platform
– Fixing any bugs on the platform
– Working as part of the overall team on a daily basis
– Managing and assisting team leads
– Completing peer reviews

Qualifications:

– 3-5 years experience in a similar role/environment
– Web development experience
– Solid foundation in object oriented programming
– A basic understanding of CSS and HTML
– Experience with SQL
– The ability to effectively work in a fast-paced agile environment
– Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Assets:

– Experience using PHP or a similar web language
– Solid understanding of AJAX/J Query/Javascript
– Linux/Unix proficiency
– Basic understanding of laaS and virtualization
– Experience with REST/XML/JSON
