Bulletproof Solutions, Atlantic Canada’s Trusted Information Technology Company, seeks a highly energetic and team oriented individual for the position of Senior Technical Architect. This full time position may be based in NB, NS, or PEI.

We are seeking an architect with at least 5 years of design and implementation experience in the IT industry.  Candidates will be selected based on their experience and breadth of skills in Microsoft Technology (Exchange Server, Lync Server, Office 365, SharePoint, Active Directory, Windows Server, Windows Hypervisor), VMware, and other application specific skill areas such as Cisco certified networking skills and Unified Communications skills.  The ideal candidate is a well rounded professional, technically adept team-player, with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, good communication and customer service skills.

The ideal candidate possesses the following technical expertise:

1. Experience with Microsoft Enterprise class IT solutions and technologies.
2. Experience with large scale AD & Exchange installation/upgrades/migrations.
3. Experience with implementing and integrating enterprise Office 365 environments with corporate network infrastructure, including Directory Synchronization and Federation Services.
4. Solid background in network fundamentals to include routing, switching, firewall implementation, and experience implementing network services such as DNS, DHCP, PoE and QoS.

The following skills would be considered additional assets:

1. Experience with Unified Communications environments including but not limited to Microsoft Lync Server, Microsoft Exchange Unified Messaging, Cisco Unified Communications products such as Communications Manager, Unity Connection, and Cisco Presence Server.
2. Experience with telephony PSTN connectivity solutions such as Session Border Controllers, Cisco Voice gateways and Integrated Service Routers, SIP trunking, and TDM-based telephony connectivity products.

The candidate must possess the following behaviors, skills, and experience:

1. Five plus (5+) years proven experience in design and implementation of IT Solutions.
2. Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification, CCNA-Voice, CCDA, etc.
3. Strong organizational skills necessary to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
4. Good written and verbal communications skill, coupled with good listening and presentation skills.
5. Teamwork and collaboration skills required to support and act as technical liaison to the sales team and prospective clients.

The position requires the flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment and the ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner. This position will require some regional travel and time flexibility to accommodate client outages. On call duties may be requested but are not expected except in the capacity as an escalation point for subject matter expertise.
