Halifax Water is inviting applicants for one (1) regular Senior Business Analyst to join the Engineering and Information Services Department. The Senior Business Analyst will lead cross-functional business process re-engineering initiatives, identifying and recommending new or improved business processes and organizational structures to ensure process objectives and intended benefits are realized. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all business requirements are identified, documented, agreed and implemented for all assigned business systems implementation initiatives.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you bring a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in business analysis roles with direct experience performing needs identification and assessment, requirements definition, business process modeling, business case development, and cost benefit analysis; with knowledge in solution delivery methodologies, tools and techniques. You also hold a post-secondary degree in Computer Science or Business Administrations ideally combined with certification in Business Analysis and/or ITIL.
