The Town of Turner Valley is recruiting for the position of Public Works & Facilities Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, a proven leader with supervisory experience preferably in a municipal setting. The position reports to the Director of Operations & Engineering. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director to ensure an excellent customer experience for those dealing with the town public works and utilities processes.

The Manager will supervise staff engaged in the operation and maintenance of Town of Turner Valleys municipal buildings and municipal infrastructure. Overseeing maintenance programs for building mechanical systems including regular mechanical inspections and preventative maintenance activities, which meet defined equipment maintenance specifications.

The Manager is responsible for planning, organizing all municipal service functions including the maintenance of streets, lanes, parks and green spaces, maintenance and operation of all town buildings or facilities, and the maintenance of all water and sewer facilities.
The Manager maintains technical knowledge in various trades, ensures quality control, implements and monitors preventative maintenance programs and checks and evaluates the work to ensure required results are achieved, while also providing excellent customer service to our citizens.
