PROGRAMMER I (AQUATICS)
Temporary Full Time Position – Up to one year
The District of Saanich seeks an individual to oversee aquatic program delivery at Saanich Commonwealth Place for a term position of up to one year. The successful candidate will oversee aquatic lesson services as well as general pool operations. Requirements include a College Diploma in Recreation, Leisure Studies or related field with minimum two years experience in an aquatic setting; program specialty certifications (current Water Safety Instructor Award or current Water Safety Instructor Trainer); current Standard First Aid with CPR “C” with AED, a valid Class 5 B.C. Driver’s Licence and satisfactory police information check.

This is a C.U.P.E. Local 2011 position with a wage of $30.89 per hour plus 13% in lieu of benefits. Job description and competition information can be found at www.saanich.ca.
