Permanent Full Time
The incumbent plans, monitors, analyzes, configures, installs, troubleshoots, maintains and provides technical network administration support for the City.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Diploma in Information Technology or a computer related field.
Industry standard certification (Microsoft, A+, Net +, etc.)
3 years previous related experience.
Knowledge of VMWare, Horizon View, EVault and SCOM is an asset.
Ability to work and maintain accuracy under pressure, attention to details and meet critical deadlines.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment with little supervision.
Strong client service orientation and good interpersonal skills.
Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Class 5 driver’s license.
Required To Operate Equipment Such As:
Network servers, network operating systems, network infrastructure, tape backup systems, desktop PCs, printers, Microsoft Office products, and anti-virus software.
