Our client, a leading manufacturer is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join their dynamic team in the Whitby,ON  area (approx 30 minutes north). This is a full-time permanent position. The ideal candidate will work creating models in Solid Works, manufacture drawings for productions, among other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Post secondary Degree in Mechanical engineering
5+ years related experience
Excellent knowledge in Solid Works and Edge CAM
Able to work straight day shift with some occasional afternoons shift
Ability to generate manufacturing drawings

Compensation: $30 – $40 per hour (depending on qualifications & experience)
