The ideal candidate will also be responsible for the following tasks:
Complex problem-solving using technical solutions
Providing other team members with direction, guidance and support throughout the development process. Managing time effectively both individually and as a team.
Researching, evaluating and making critical decisions regarding technical options to accommodate the specific needs and expectations of individual clients.
Assess risks and exposures on specific projects while aiding in the creation and refinement of the development process.
Providing direction on web server management.
In the Lead Developer role with our client, the ideal candidate should have:
Detailed experience with Ruby on Rails (equivalent .NET/MVC or advanced PHP experience would also be considered)
Experience using CMS frameworks, including plugin/module development, theme/template creation, custom functionality and integration (WordPress/Drupal preferred)
Significant understanding of Linux and Apache knowledge
A background in agile development methodology and in leading a development team..
