Archway IT, a division of David Aplin Group is looking for a front-end Web application developer experienced in building interfaces to rich video monitoring platforms and systems, to join our client’s front-end development team. We are looking for an individual skilled in highly dynamic web interface development (HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery).
The Role:
Builds front-end software applications to video monitoring probing technology – Follows established coding methodologies, unit testing, integration tests and deployment scripts
Assists in defining software architectures – Collaborates with team leads to explore existing systems, determines areas of complexity, potential risks to successful implementation, learns the applications capabilities
Communicates continually with the SCRUM team
Owns success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions
Drive to create intuitive, rich and extensible functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance
Contributes to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies
The Ideal Candidate:
Highly skilled at front-end engineering using HTML5, Object-Oriented JavaScript, various JavaScript libraries and micro frameworks (jQuery, etc.), CSS, REST services, etc.
Well-versed in software engineering principles, frameworks and technologies. SCRUM methodologies knowledge and/or certifications required
Excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a group environment
