JCL Event Company Ltd. (We Do Weddings Etc.) is an event planning, consultation and design studio that specializes in wedding planning. We strive to help its customers to conceptualize their ideas and create the events of their dreams.

Now, the company is looking for an Interactive Media Designer (NOC: 5241) to join its team. This is a full-time, permanent position responsible for the following duties:

Work directly with developers, researchers and content editors in order to deliver simple, usable and elegant designs
Translate complex research concepts into compelling visual products
Design online interactive activities
Create design frameworks (or method) appropriate to the developing project
Create content for weekly and promotion based emails
Work in content management systems to upload and schedule artwork and campaign art
Create landing pages for short-term promotions and offers
Contribute to the creative teams concept development and ideation
Manage creative files/assets and ensure organized workflow
Ensure final deliveries meet all guidelines and specifications

Education and Skills Requirement:
College or University Degree/Diploma or Certificate in visual arts with relevant specializations
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Comfortable creating visual designs for a broad range of experience including, but not limited to, web design, responsive design, data graphic, animation and typography.
Affinity for technology and design and the drive to stay on top of industry developments, trends and best practice
Knowledge of layout, typography, photography, illustration, color and design
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skill

The studio is located at 201-168 West 1st Ave. Vancouver, BC V6J 1G1

Compensation:
$22.00/Hour
