The District of Summerland has an excellent opportunity for an Information Technology Coordinator. Under the direction of the Director of Corporate Services, the successful candidate will provide support and training to staff to optimize their use of the District’s information technology and telecommunications systems; resolve problems with software and hardware; and install and maintain IT and telecom equipment.
The ideal candidate is an energetic, customer service oriented individual with a knack for communicating technical subjects in plain language, a quick learner, great at juggling and prioritizing a multitude of tasks, with a passion for problem solving and helping people.
Required Training and Experience:
Diploma (2 years) in computer technology, or equivalent experience
Three years of recent experience with IT hardware and software installation and support
Class 5 B.C. Driver’s Licence

This is a full-time exempt position and offers an annual salary, depending on experience, between $59,000-$69,000 as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
