The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation is looking for a design professional to join the Customer Strategy team as a:

Graphic Design Specialist

In this position, the incumbent will be responsible for the overall design of marketing materials for the NSLC. This position develops and executes strategic campaigns to support the Business Unit in delivering on strategic business objectives. This role may also aid in messaging, visuals or communications support for other areas of the business to ensure consistency and integrity of the NSLC brand, throughout NSLC messaging. This position works in a team environment, both with internal business units and external partners and suppliers, to ensure that all marketing campaigns are on time, on strategy and on brand.

As a qualified candidate, you will have:

An undergraduate degree in Design or a related discipline
5-7 years’ experience in design capacity at an advertising/marketing agency

As an ideal candidate you will also have:

Experience working as an in-house designer for a corporate organization
Copywriting experience
Digital design experience
Photography experience and/or courses
Experience working as a designer for a large retailer

We are looking for a strategic thinker who has the ability to translate business objectives into creative communications and messaging and who demonstrates exceptional knowledge of art direction and current design practices.
