The Orb Factory is a locally owned design company whose toys are played with around the world! We are seeking a graphic designer with an active imagination and a passion for the toy industry to join our team. Not your average graphic design job; we supply a creative and engaging work environment where learning and team work is key. You will be expected to contribute to the team by thinking outside the box and paying attention to current toy and children’s craft trends. Our open position is on our licensing team working primarily on our Disney licensed product line for International markets.

Job Description:

Graphic Design for packaging, product components and sales collateral including catalogs, displays and presentations
Compile and organize digital assets
Product concept development and proof-of-concept prototyping
Utilize Licensor style guides and apply them to a variety of product formats
Prepare final artwork for print production
Track and balance material usage on product development projects
Provide product specifications to our Hong Kong based sourcing team and compile costing information for each project
Edit product concepts as necessary to meet budget goals
Keep project tracking information up to date and meet set project timelines

Qualifications:

Fluent in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Excel
A post-secondary graphic design degree
Prior experience working with licensors is beneficial
