Job Description:
Kneehill County is seeking an energetic professional to be part of our corporate services team. As the organizations Geographical Information Services Technician (GIS Tech), you will administer and be responsible for designing, developing, managing and maintaining the GIS databases, as well as providing reports and mapping for all County Departments.
In order to provide this expertise, you will bring an educational background with a minimum diploma or degree as a G.I.S. Technician, Technologist or in other related disciplines, Excellent working knowledge of G.I.S., G.P.S., AutoCAD, V.T.S, Microsoft Office Suite of programs and associated systems and software, Excellent working knowledge of ArcView and CAD.
