Donor Relations / Database Administrator – Toronto – Canadian Hadassah

Canadian Hadassah-WIZO (CHW), a not-for-profit organization is seeking a candidate for the position of Donor Relations/Database Administrator. This is an opportunity for a candidate with analytical, problem-solving and communication skills to gain organizational experience while contributing positively in a team-oriented environment.

The successful candidate enjoys extracting, investigating and analyzing data pertaining to the organization’s members and donors and the gift/communication preferences in order to translate it into meaningful business intelligence that will enable the organization to better understand its supporters.

The candidate will have strong business acumen for identifying, from the data, underlying trends, and business opportunities that will drive the development of marketing, membership and communication strategies.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:
Enter, maintain and manage data in Raiser’s Edge and Luminate Online
Build and maintain strong knowledge of Raiser’s Edge and Luminate Online
Generate and print charitable tax receipts
Prepare all data reports for fundraising and engagement purposes
Manage schedule for major donors and sustainers in respect to payments, recognition and donor reporting
Generate reports and queries as needed
Translate organizational requirements into reporting solutions
Extract, investigate and analyze data pertaining to our members and donors
Identify and analyze prospective donors and members using various data sources
Keep abreast of not-for-profit trends and BI innovations via benchmarking, best practice, and attending webinars
Closely collaborate with marketing/communications department

Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in relevant field with three years of work experience
Experience with Raiser’s Edge and/or other donor management software
Advanced computer skills and a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on MS Word, excel and power point is required
Ability to pay attention to detail, prioritize and adapt to frequently changing environment
Team work and ability to provide guidance, in the form of transfer of knowledge, to less experienced staff
Experience with Luminate Online preferred

Salary:
$35, 000- $45, 000 per year, depending on experience
