Digital Engagement Coordinator – IISAAK OLAM Foundation – Victoria

Overview
The IPCA Knowledge Basket is a digital space that honours, celebrates, and catalyzes Indigenous-led conservation in Canada, including Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs). The platform was created through the collective vision and efforts of many, including the IISAAK OLAM Foundation, the Conservation through Reconciliation Partnership (CRP), the Indigenous Leadership Initiative, and the University of Guelph. The IPCA Knowledge Basket is primarily intended to support Indigenous (First Nations, MĂ©tis, and Inuit) governments, communities, and organizations.
The Digital Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for website management, social media and engagement, and monitoring impact and reach. The coordinator will be committed to decolonial communications and the values of the IPCA Knowledge Basket: respect, reciprocity, and responsibility. An employee of the IISAAK OLAM Foundation, the Digital Engagement Coordinator will work with a dynamic team of professionals from several entities, including the Conservation through Reconciliation Partnership.
