Reporting to the Manager of Innovation and Information Technology, you will have responsibility for gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. As Business Systems Analyst you will also be responsible for the delivery of support and training to the end users within various departments including troubleshooting of all business applications and their integrations.

As the ideal candidate you will have a Diploma or degree in the field of computer science or management information systems with proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems or products. You have extensive experience with core software applications including; Financials, Payroll, Work Order, Document Management and SharePoint.  Experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP Financial ERP and Documentum would be extremely valuable to your candidacy. A business analyst’s background within a municipal sector environment, private sector consulting to municipalities or within in a large corporate setting would be extremely valuable to your application. You are known as a decisive, take charge, strategic thinker with strong visionary, human relations and business consultation skills.  You are a consensus builder with well-honed report writing skills, and recognized for your business integrity.  You are politically astute and fully conversant with the challenges facing growing communities, and recognize the importance of impeccable customer service delivery to a wide variety of both internal and external users.
